Welcome to the 2024 Tysoe Flower Show & Fete

At the end of last year’s show, Chris Gibbs decided to stand down after more than 30 years on the committee. Chris organised the classic cars, tractors, vintage machinery and stationary engines. We also said farewell to Sue Sanderson who was for twelve years the Assistant Flower Show Secretary. The committee would like to thank them both for all their hard work and commitment over the years.

With the Flower Show marquee at centre stage, exhibitors will be competing for best in show, our theme this year is ‘Midsummer Mysteries’, see how many Agatha Christie titles you can spot. There will be many attractions to see around the show ground including the main ring event Fen Falconry Display, plus the SWWWC Gun Dog Display Team.

New for this year will be a miniature railway that all ages can take a ride on. Also in our circus marquee we welcome the Bakayoko Music Drum Workshop. The Banbury Cross Archers are back by popular demand - come and test your skills.

The show committee takes pride in keeping it a rural event, so there will be lots of displays and interactive demonstrations for all ages around the field. These include a farrier display, dry stone walling, bee keeping and pottery. There will be a wide selection of classic cars, tractors and vintage machinery, plus alpacas, sheep and the ever popular dog show.

A good choice of food and drink stalls will be available for you to taste, plus numerous stands within Petticoat Lane to purchase that special gift.

Last year the committee made donations of over £3,500 to village organisations including Tysoe Sports Club, enabling them to put on their annual bonfire & firework display with free entrance for all.

Enjoy your show!
