Welcome to the 2025 Tysoe Flower Show & Fete
At the end of last year’s show, Jenny Warwick, our General Secretary and Sam Belcher decided to stand down. Jenny’s bacon butties and lunches will be sorely missed on set up day. Sam’s vision for the Sheep Show will continue.
The committee would like to thank them both for all their hard work and commitment over the last three years.
Following our AGM in October the committee has been working hard to put on this year’s show which has a Nursery Rhymes theme.
Moving with the times www.tysoeflowershow.org.uk now makes it easier to book and pay for a slot in Petticoat Lane, or to register to exhibit a classic car or a vintage tractor on-line.
For many years the Tysoe Flower Show & Fete has received countless exceptionally generous donations from our Patrons. Over time, thousands of pounds have been invested into numerous shows and the profits raised have benefited many clubs, charities and good causes within Tysoe. As the show evolves, the committee has renamed these important benefactors “The Friends of Tysoe Flower Show”. Once again with the Flower Show marquee at centre stage, exhibitors will compete for the coveted Best in Show trophy. There will be lots to see around the show ground as we welcome back the Gateridge Suffolk Punch Horse and the SWWWC Gun Dog Display Teams. Also the Bakayoko Music Drum Workshop and the Banbury Cross Archers who last year both proved very popular.
The show committee takes pride in keeping it a rural event, so there will be lots of displays and interactive demonstrations for all ages around the field. These include a farrier display, bee keeping, alpacas and the ever-popular dog show.
A good choice of food and drink stalls will be available for you to enjoy, plus lots of stands within Petticoat Lane to purchase that special gift.
Last year the committee made donations of over £3,000 to village organisations including Tysoe Sports Club which enabled them to put on their annual bonfire & firework display with free entrance for all.
